Arrive Alive Event

On March 6th, the Northwest Campus Drugs, Alcohol, Sexual Harassment, and Hazing (DASHH) Prevention Education Squad hosted the UNITE Arrive Alive Tour. During the event, students participated in immersive activities designed to help them experience and better understand the risk of hazardous driving behaviors.

Participants utilized a state-of-the-art simulator that replicated the experience of driving while distracted or under the influence of alcohol or marijuana. This experience allowed them to examine their behavior in a dangerous situation without the actual threat and consequences.

The event provided students with information about UNITE, a leading organization for health and wellness in America, and their approach for promoting safe driving through innovative and engaging technology methods.  The UNITE Arrive Alive Tour collaborates with safety offices, government agencies, educational institutions, communities, US military bases, and corporations.
