TCC Pathways to Success Showcase to connect student talent, regional employers

FORT WORTH, Texas — From the hum of a nursing simulation lab to the spark of a welding torch, Tarrant County College doesn’t just teach careers, it launches them. The public will get a glimpse Nov. 5 at TCC Trinity River’s Collegewide Pathways to Success Showcase: Where Talent Meets Opportunity connecting student achievement with industries that are hiring.

Donors, industry partners, elected officials, TCC leadership and students can expect an immersive, interactive experience that goes beyond a traditional tabling event. Guests will journey through TCC’s five academic and career pathways, where student-led demonstrations and interactive experiences will highlight four key themes: Student Success, Talent Pipeline, Innovation and Community Impact.

At each Showcase station, students will serve as presenters, demonstrators and storytellers, sharing their skills and experiences while illustrating how TCC prepares students for meaningful careers, strengthens workforce connections and creates opportunities through education, industry partnerships and donor support.

“When we invest in talent, we invest in the future of this region,” TCC Chancellor Elva LeBlanc said. “The Showcase is proof that Tarrant County College is building the workforce North Texas needs, one student at a time.”

“Every gift to this Showcase is an investment in a student who is ready to work, ready to lead and ready to give back,” added TCC Chief Development Officer Josh Stewart. “That’s the kind of return donors don’t find everywhere.”

The Showcase will feature 24 premier workforce programs. Stations will connect to in-demand credentials and careers.

TCC and the TCC Foundation, in collaboration with regional industry partners, developed the Showcase around four objectives: strengthening relationships with donors and industry leaders; highlighting student skills and workforce readiness aligned with regional economic needs; fostering new partnerships; and facilitating knowledge exchange through student-led demonstrations and guided pathway experiences.

A four-tier sponsorship program, from Pathway Partner Sponsors at $3,000 to two exclusive Trailblazer Visionary Sponsorships at $15,000, will bring recognition throughout the evening, VIP guided pathway tours with TCC leadership, and direct engagement with students and faculty in sponsored program areas.

The Showcase comes as North Texas continues to see rapid growth, with more than a million new residents over the past decade amid rising demand for skilled talent across expanding industries. TCC’s workforce programs are designed to meet that demand: 90% of TCC completers are working, continuing their education or both within a year of graduation, and more than 85% remain in Tarrant County.
