FORT WORTH, Texas — Dozens of career opportunities in criminal justice will be available at the upcoming Tarrant County College Criminal Justice Career Fair. TCC will host almost 40 federal, state, county and local law enforcement agencies seeking to connect with potential employees and interns.
The free semiannual recruitment event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, on the TCC Trinity River Campus, 300 Trinity Campus Circle in Fort Worth. Business and industry representatives will be stationed along Main Street on the second floor.
Attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with recruiters, explore job openings and gain insight into the qualifications and skills required for a wide range of criminal justice careers, including analyst, dispatcher, probation officer, corrections officer, police officer, state trooper and federal agent.
“This job fair is one of the most impactful recruiting events we host and serves as a direct bridge between education and employment,” said TCC criminal justice Professor Steve Romero. “It gives our students and community members the chance to engage face to face with hiring agencies, learn exactly what those agencies are looking for, and take meaningful steps toward a career in public service.”
Romero said student participants will leave more knowledgeable, better prepared and more confident about the career paths available to them.
“Many will have submitted applications already or begun the hiring process, because they are consistently sought after by law enforcement agencies across Texas and beyond. They are motivated, well-prepared and ready to lead.”
The TCC Criminal Justice Career Fair continues to be one of the largest and most respected criminal justice recruiting events in Texas, Romero said, underscoring the College’s commitment to workforce development, community engagement and student success.
Attendees are encouraged to dress for success and bring multiple copies of their résumés. Employers expected to attend span, but are not limited to, North Central Texas:
