Dance faculty and alumni from across Tarrant County College will team with guest artists for a special performance in Downtown Fort Worth’s Sundance Square. The “Merge” concert will be held Thursday, April 14, at 5:30 p.m., on the Plaza Stage at Main Street and 4th Street.
Choreography will range from the styles of modern and post-modern dance, modern hip-hop fusion, contemporary ballet and ballet folklorico.
The performance will feature faculty members Kiera Amison, Brandy Niccolai-Belfi, Hyun Jung Jenna Chang, Kihyoung Choi, Amy L. Jennings, Lacreacia Sanders, Najwa Seyedmorteza, and Ginny Wheeler.
Now in its 12th season, Merge will feature several four-year university dance programs to share the stage. Guest artists include Adesola Akinleye, Bangerz Dance Co., imPULSE Dance Project, Muscle Memory Dance Theatre, Sarah Matzke, Texas Woman’s International Dance Company, TranScend Motion Dance Company, University of North Texas Dance Ensemble and UTA-Maverick Dance Company.
