TCC Hosts Community and High School Showcases

WHAT:
Celebrating 50 years since its inception, Tarrant County College will host its third annual Success Within Reach Community and High School Showcase to introduce the community and potential students to the broad range of educational opportunities that TCC offers.
 
A new breakout session, “What is the Best Career for Me?” will allow participants to use a computer-based survey to explore career preferences. Discussion will focus on the top 10 careers in Tarrant County, work skills needed and wages.
 
WHEN:
Saturday, March 28
10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
 
Tours will be ongoing from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lunch begins at noon.

Northeast Campus, 828 W. Harwood Rd., Hurst – Dental Hygiene, Emergency Medical Services, Radio and TV Broadcasting
 
Northwest Campus, 4801 Marine Creek Pkwy. – Fire and Police academies and Aviation Maintenance
 
Southeast Campus, 2100 Southeast Pkwy., Arlington – Culinary Arts, Dietetics, Restaurant and Hospitality Management, CISCO
 
South Campus, 5301 Campus Dr. – Welding, Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD), Engineering/Electronics Technology, Automobile
 
Trinity River Campus, 300 Trinity Campus Cir. – Nursing, Respiratory Care, Sign Language, Radiologic Technology
 
TCC Opportunity Center, 5901 Fitzhugh Ave. – Assists employers in providing specialized training for their workforce.
 
MORE INFORMATION:
Each campus will showcase programs unique to its location through tours and exhibits at their Campus Expo. TCC faculty and staff will be available to answer specific questions including details about enrollment, financial aid and other student services. Family activities on each campus will include caricature artists and photo booths.
