FORT WORTH, Texas (March 20, 2015) – Tarrant County College’s 50-year legacy will be celebrated Saturday, March 28, at its third annual Success Within Reach Community and High School Showcase with a focus on Career and Technical Education.
“What is the Best Career for Me?” will be offered for the first time as one of the breakout sessions at the Showcases held on each of TCC’s five campuses from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The one-hour session will highlight ways potential students can jumpstart or enhance their careers. Participants will use Career Coach to explore career options and discuss how to link specific career pathways to certificate and degree opportunities at TCC.
Additionally, veterans will learn firsthand about new educational opportunities that will help them and other job-seekers prepare for careers in high demand fields provided by TCC’s Online Career Training Programs. Representatives from the Online Career Training Program will be available at TCC’s Northeast, South and Trinity River campuses.
Visitors may participate in tours. Lunch will be served at noon. TCC faculty and staff will be available to answer specific questions including details about enrollment, financial aid and other student services. Family activities on each campus will include caricature artists and photo booths.
