Trinity River’s activities are part of October’s National Disability Employment Awareness, a month-long national campaign hosted by The Office of Disability Employment (ODEP). One of the month’s highlights is Disability Mentoring Day, a collaboration between ODEP and the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) held on the third Wednesday of October. Disability Mentoring Day raises awareness about disability employment issues and celebrates the many and varied contributions of America’s workers with disabilities. This year’s theme is “A Strong Workforce is an Inclusive Workforce: What Can YOU Do?”
Interested students should RSVP to TRCE.Support@tccd.edu; lunch will be provided. If you have any questions regarding this event, please contact Trinity River Continuing Education Services at 817-515-1071.
