FORT WORTH, Texas — For anyone wanting a criminal justice career, Tarrant County College Trinity River is the place to be March 12, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Job seekers will have the opportunity, at no charge, to meet representatives from 40 federal, state, county and local law enforcement agencies.
Recruiters will be on the second floor of the Trinity building, connected to the parking garage. Attendees are encouraged to dress for success and bring multiple copies of their résumé.
Criminal justice Professor Steve Romero emphasized that the semiannual event offers a unique opportunity to connect with industry professionals, explore job openings and gain insight into the qualifications and skills required.
He calls the event an “invaluable resource for students and community members interested in pursuing careers in criminal justice.” He said it gives direct access to hiring agencies, expert guidance and meaningful employment.
Referring to TCC’s Criminal Justice program, Romero said that “our students and graduates are highly sought after by Texas law enforcement agencies because they are well prepared and equipped to excel.”
