TCC Inaugural Fall Plant Sale Gives Gardeners a Head Start

FORT WORTH, Texas — Gardeners can get a jump on fall planting thanks to Tarrant County College’s Fall Plant Sale on Sept. 19-20, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Located in the NW05 Building at TCC Northwest (4801 Marine Creek Parkway, 76179), the walk-up event features indoor plants, fall vegetables, native plants and perennials. Park in the north and gravel lots near the greenhouses. Pay by cash or check.

This is TCC’s first plant sale in the fall.

“Fall is ideal for growing cool-season vegetables and planting native perennials,” said Learning Lab manager Cameron Grant. “The cooler temperatures promote stronger root development throughout the winter, setting the stage for vibrant blooms and healthy growth in the spring.”
