“Bringin’ Down the House,” the final performance of the semester by TCC Northwest Dance, has a double meaning. Yes, it likely will get a great ovation from audiences, but it also will be a farewell to the theater itself, which will be part of a demolition that will make way for the campus redevelopment project.
Performances will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 28, and at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 29. General admission tickets are $5 to the general public and $3 to non-TCC students and seniors. There is no charge for TCC students, faculty and staff.
Tickets are available online at https://tccnw-dance.ticketleap.com/bringingdownthehouse/. Online sales close 12 hours prior to each performance.
The program is subtitled “Savoring the Creative Artist,” and will feature work by student choreographers Melanie Diaz, Kara Hawkins, Jesse Martinez, Queen D’Amore Peters, Kelly Ratanabouapha and Jessica Trimble.
