Texas high school student makes history with associate degree, college head start

Lillia Vasquez Deras made history this month by becoming the first student from Eaton High School in Haslet to earn an associate degree from Tarrant County College, weeks before graduating from high school. Deras plans to enroll at Texas A&M this fall.
