TCC South, 5301 Campus Drive, Fort Worth

Tarrant County College South is partnering with the Chris Howell Foundation to host the Conquering COVID Health and Wellness Fair on Saturday, May 7. Fair activities include free health screenings, fitness classes, cooking demonstrations. COVID vaccinations and free at-home COVID-19 tests, chair massages and fun activities for participants of all ages.

This free event is being held in the Student Center at TCC South, 5301 Campus Drive in Fort Worth, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The public, TCC students, staff and faculty are invited to bring friends and family to an event featuring various interactive activities focused on providing an overview of whole-body health education and disease prevention awareness.

According to the organization’s founder, the group is committed to promoting equity throughout the region, ensuring that everyone can achieve their full health potential.

“Health and wellness are an essential part of our mission at the Chris Howell Foundation because growing up in West Dallas, I saw firsthand many family members experience poor health conditions just simply because they didn’t have access to quality healthcare resources,” said Chris Howell, CEO of the Chris Howell Foundation. “That said, we hope to remove some of the barriers people may face, such as not having transportation, cost and other factors by bringing our Health and Wellness event into the community.”

This partnership is another example of how TCC remains committed to serving Tarrant County through strategic partnerships that benefit the community.
