On January 31, the HEB Chamber of Commerce named Tarrant County College Northeast the winner of the 2019 Bill Ridgway Spirit of Enterprise Award during its annual award luncheon. The Bill Ridgway Spirit of Enterprise Award recognizes individuals or entities who have been significantly involved in the economic development of the Hurst, Euless and Bedford communities.
“The entire TCC community is honored by this award,” said TCC Northeast President Kenya Ayers. “We truly enjoy collaborating with our community partners to imagine how K-12 partners, colleges and universities, business and industry, government agencies, non-profits and local chambers of commerce can provide further significant social and economic value for our region.”
Located on 188 acres in the cities of Hurst and North Richland Hills, TCC Northeast has a long history of working with civic, educational, economic development and corporate partners to ensure exceptional experiences for TCC students and families. TCC’s second-oldest campus provides educational opportunities for learners of all ages, from its early childhood laboratory school to career and technical programs, or personal enrichment offerings for people over the age of 50.
