What’s a birthday without a party, and South Campus is going all out to wind up its 50th year of excellence in education in grand style with a formal Masquerade Ball on Saturday, April 7, at the Fort Worth Club.
The ball, presented by Weaver, TCC’s accounting firm since the foundation of the College, will feature dinner, dancing to Rick Stitzel’s band, a cash bar and both live and silent auctions. All proceeds will go to the TCC Foundation Scholarship Fund.
Auction items will include a suite at a Texas Rangers game, tickets to see the Dallas Mavericks or Dallas Stars, a North Side Fort Worth Package, a Downtown Fort Worth package with tickets to Bass Hall and the Fort Worth Symphony, opportunities to dine at a variety of Fort Worth restaurants and several paintings by Patrick Hunter, who has been featured at many charity events including those for the Atlanta Braves, the NBA and the Sundance Film Festival, to name a few.
Tickets are $150 for individuals and $275 for couples. Sponsorships are available from $2,000 to $10,000, and those not able to attend are encouraged to make donations to the Scholarship Fund. Checks should be sent to the TCC Foundation, 1500 Houston Street, Fort Worth, TX 76102, and payment can also be made at foundation.tccd.edu/MB18. Deadline for tickets purchases is Monday, April 2.
The Fort Worth Club is located at 306 West Seventh Street in downtown Fort Worth, and parking is free.
