Tarrant County College South, which is celebrating 50 years of higher education programs and services, invites people of all ages to come and enjoy Family Extravaganza: Education, Enrichment and Entertainment for All, a family friendly event being hosted Saturday, September 30 on the scenic Fort Worth campus, 5301 Campus Drive.
The purpose of the TCC South’s Family Extravaganza is to connect community members who bring life to the campus. Open to the public, this special event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free.
The event features live entertainment, kid-friendly games and activities, bingo, sports competitions, photo opportunities, vendors, food trucks and other great activities. Guests are encouraged to stop by exhibitor tables to learn more about programs and services offered across Tarrant County College District.

Sixth Annual Intergenerational Community Conversation
Beginning at 8 a.m., TCC South will host the 6th annual Intergenerational Community Conversation as a way of promoting civic responsibility, community engagement, and capacity building along with developing practical solutions for community concerns and knowledge building. Members of the Fort Worth Mayor-appointed Race and Culture Task Force will facilitate the community conversation.
