Beginning this evening, Jan. 20, Northwest Campus Vice President of Community & Industry Education Services Arrick Jackson will hit the radio airwaves weekly informing the veteran and first responder communities of the educational and professional resources available to them at the TCC Northwest Campus.
“The goal of the program is to let them know the role of community colleges such as Tarrant County College, share experiences of their military colleagues who have successfully transitioned from military to civilian life and inform them about programs available on the Northwest Campus,” Jackson said. “These two groups have significant resources at their disposal that allow them to further their education at little or no cost.”
Airing Tuesdays on KVCE 1160 from 6 to 7 p.m., “Alliance for the Brave Partnership” can be heard online at: http://www.kvceradio.com/ Listeners may participate by calling into the program at 214-787-1160.
