TCC enhances EasyRide to better serve students

FORT WORTH, Texas — Students who use Tarrant County College’s EasyRide should be aware of upcoming changes to how they access free rides through Trinity Metro and Trinity Railway Express.

Beginning Oct. 13, the GoPass app will be the only method for EasyRide access. TCC Student ID cards will no longer work for the program.

Key dates:

  • Sept. 8-Oct. 12: Transition period — students may use either their TCC Student ID card or GoPass.
  • Oct. 13: GoPass becomes the only access method.

Students without smartphones can get assistance through their campus’ Student Connections Center.

Eligibility: Students must hold a current TCC Student ID and be enrolled in at least three credit hours (or 48 continuing education contact hours). Students in College for Kids, Early College High School, Dual Credit and Senior Education programs are not eligible, as separate partner agreements address their transportation needs.
