FORT WORTH, Texas (Dec. 11, 2014) – As part of its commitment to open access, Tarrant County College will host its first “English for You!” event on Saturday, Jan. 10, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at TCC Northwest Campus, 4801 Marine Creek Parkway.
The ESL-ESOL Open House will be held in the gymnasium (WHPE Building).
Participants will have the opportunity to register for English classes on various levels – from basic English to advanced academic classes – meet advisors and instructors and tour the campus.
A special area for children will be available and refreshments will be served.
“We recognize the need in our community for language classes on all levels as well as the obstacles English language learners face in obtaining them,” said Northwest Campus President Elva LeBlanc. “We hope this event will make it easier for these students to pursue language learning so they can achieve their personal and educational goals.”
