WHAT:
In its commitment to student success and community involvement, the Tarrant County College Police and Fire Academies will host the fourth annual 9/11 5K Memorial Run on Sept. 11. About 150 to 200 cadets, faculty and staff are expected participate in the 5K run/walk and a 9.11-mile run to honor the fallen in the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center, Pentagon and in Shanksville, Penn. The final leg of the race will be through the fire towers in celebration of completing the course.
