TCC Introduces Students to Wonders of STEM

FORT WORTH, Texas (April 10, 2014)
 
WHAT:
As part of its commitment to preparing the next generation of scientists and engineers, Tarrant County College will host “Magic & Wonders of STEM” (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) in conjunction with Congressman Marc Veasey and American Petroleum Institute (API).
 
Grand Hank, renowned scientist and educator, will be featured at the event. His interactive television show, produced in collaboration with the Philadelphia school district and developed around the National Standards for Science Education, is designed to increase students’ interest and enrollment in science and technology classes.
