Students at Northwest Campus have the chance to get their semester off to a great start by getting tips on every aspect of student life during next week’s two-day Student Success Conference.

The conference will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 10 and 11. Workshops will be held both days from 8:15 a.m. to noon. The conference ends Wednesday after the keynote address by TCC alumna and College Access and Community Outreach academic advisor Claudia Garcia. Garcia will speak at 12:30 p.m. in the Student Center, WSTU 1303. As TCC’s 2013 commencement speaker, Garcia shared how her successful pursuit of higher education allowed her to take advantage of new federal legislation to shed an uncertain future.

Workshop topics include:  “Vision Boards: Using Creative Visualization to Realize Your Goals,” “Instructors and Students: Interacting Productively,” “Guide to TCC eBooks” and “Commit to Complete.” Follow this link for a complete list of topics and session times.
