TCC Homeless Program Launches Voter Registration Events

FORT WORTH, Texas (Apr. 13, 2012)

WHAT:
The TCC South Campus Visions Unlimited Program Student Mentor Team, along with that campus’ Social Sciences Department, is launching a series of voter registration events. The Voter Registration Drive will kick off with the registering of South Campus President Peter Jordan, who recently relocated to Fort Worth. Visions Unlimited is a cooperative effort with Tarrant County homeless shelters that provide the homeless access to higher education.

The purpose of the mini-lecture is to educate, empower and register the homeless of Tarrant County. Co-sponsors are Student Development Services and Continuing Education Services ESL Program on South Campus.
