With gas prices approaching $4.00 per gallon, many commuters will be considering a motorcycle as an economical transportation option. Anyone wishing to apply for a Texas Motorcycle Operator’s License must complete a Motorcycle Safety Course certified by The Motorcycle Safety Foundation. This Saturday, Tarrant County College’s Northwest Campus will host the Department of Public Safety and The Motorcycle Safety Foundation as they train instructors for these courses at the campus’ newly revitalized training facility. Weather permitting, DPS Trooper Motorcycle Officers will assist with cycle training exercises on their patrol bikes.
