If you plan to attend Tarrant County College for the first time in spring 2012, or know someone who is, a critical deadline is coming up. Prospective First Time in College (FTIC) students must apply by Jan. 3, 2012, to be eligible to register for regular 16-week classes.
TCC requires students to submit admission applications two weeks before the start of classes to allow sufficient time for testing, advising, registering and preparing for the start of sessions.
Students who miss the Jan. 3 application deadline may apply for admission to TCC for classes that start at later times during the spring term, including weekend college courses or second 8-week courses. The application deadline for weekend college courses is Jan. 6, 2012, and for the second 8-week session is March 12, 2012.
