TCC Hispanic Heritage Month Celebrations Begin

TCC’s Hispanic Heritage Month Celebrations get started today, Sept. 15, with a recognition and kick-off event at Trinity River Campus at 11 a.m. on the Trinity Plaza, which is next to the Trinity Building.  Lunch will be served for the first 100 participants. 

On Monday, Sept. 19, Fiesta en el Patio will be the first Hispanic Heritage Month event at South Campus. The celebration includes food, music and games from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Student Center Patio.

Northeast Campus gets its celebration started Thursday, Sept. 22, with a presentation, “No Mexicans, Women or Dogs” by author Cynthia Orozco.  She will speak from 12:30 to 1:20 p.m. in the Student Center, Center Corner, Room 1615A.  Lunch will be served, so please RSVP at www.tccdne.volunteerhub.com.
