Graduates who participated in Friday’s commencement ceremony initiated a new TCC tradition – receiving lapel pins from the Alumni Association. A TCC representative shook hands with every student as they walked off the stage, welcomed them to the association, and presented them with the antique silver-finish pins featuring the association’s logo with the TCC star.
“We do this because we want the students to know they can count on us to help them in the future,” said Andrea Craig, the association’s Alumni and Scholarships Specialist. “And, I wanted our students to have something that would bring back memories of TCC, no matter where their life journey takes them.”
