FORT WORTH, Texas (May 17, 2011)
Tarrant County College Foundation has received a $25,000 grant from the Leo Potishman Foundation, JP Morgan Trustee, that will fund 12 four-semester scholarships in nursing or any allied health professions program. The first awards will be distributed for fall 2011.
“The Trinity River East Campus, new home for the nursing and allied health professions programs, allows for growth in these programs. An increase in students will most likely result in a significant increase in applications for scholarship support,” said TCC Foundation Executive Director Joe McIntosh. “Now, we are in a better position to respond to the need. We cannot thank JPMorgan enough for its support of TCC students.”
