Teem Time

The Student Center Building on South Campus on Saturday literally teemed with students, staff, faculty, and guests who networked, attended seminars, visited vendor exhibits and signed up for volunteer opportunities at the 10th Annual Women’s Symposium.

An estimated 80 persons attended the event, “Sisters Bridging Cultures: One Voice, One Heart, Many Hands,” sponsored by WINR and Women’s History Month Committee.

Speakers, including Dr. Staussa Ervin, TCC assistant professor of psychology, and Kathryn Bryan, board member of Fort Worth Sister Cities International, urged attendees to make a difference in other people’s lives through mentoring projects and volunteer activities.
