Tarrant Area Food Bank got a hand in March from the South Campus Student Development Services team. Vice President for Student Development Services Nicole Bradford and her management team helped the TAFB with quality control in a number of areas. They sorted food by containers and type, discarded dated items, and sanitized and packaged items for shipping.
Team members who helped out included Chris Carcerano, coordinator of Center for Academic Success; Vera Clayborn, coordinator of Community Outreach; Marissa Garcia-Luna, director of Counseling; Monica Miranda, coordinator of Career Services; Ralph Robinson, coordinator of Testing; John Spencer, registrar; and Flo Stanton, coordinator of Health Services.
Bradford said the service day was the first in a series of monthly projects.
