David Ximenez, district director of Student Financial Aid Services, will be heavily weighing in on state and national policies affecting community colleges as the newly elected 2011-12 Chair of the Advisory Committee of the Texas Guaranteed Center for Financial Aid Policy in Community Colleges.
Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corporation established the Center for Financial Aid Policy in Community Colleges to raise awareness among state and national policymakers. It allows an avenue to provide policymakers with information about the most effective financial aid policies and practices for community colleges and their students.
Ximenez has been with TCC for nearly six years and has served on the Advisory Committee since 2009.
