Give a warm welcome to Reginald Gates, a longtime DFW professional, who has joined TCC as our vice chancellor for Communications and External Affairs.
He brings a wealth of experience to the new position, most recently serving for 14 years as the president/chief operating officer of the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce. Before that, he was president of the Fort Worth Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce.
Gates is also knowledgeable in the higher education field thanks to his past positions with the United Negro College Fund, Dallas Community College District and Bishop College, where he began his career as that college’s youngest-ever cabinet-level administrator.
He has a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications from Bishop College and a Master’s of Education from Prairie View A&M University.
