Foundation Dinner Draws Kudos from Donor

We all know the TCC Foundation knows how to stage a big event (remember the May 3 Larry Gatlin concert?), but it’s nice to hear it from others, too – like Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway (BNSF) manager Deanna Dugas, who attended the Foundation’s Oct. 8 Scholarship Dinner. She was quick to write Donor Relations Officer Liz Sisk the next morning to say, “Kudos to you and TCC for what was one of the better functions I’ve attended — very well organized, unpretentious, brief and to the point. Your focus was on the scholars, not the donors, and that’s as it should be. I very much enjoyed meeting the BNSF Opportunity Scholars — what outstanding young people!  I’ve been to many of these type of affairs and I have to say that tonight stood out as a shining example of how to honor scholarship recipients and thank donors and families during economically challenging times.” And thank you, Ms. Dugas. And thanks for funding the BNSF Scholarship for TCC students.
