TCC icon (and who would argue he doesn’t deserve the designation?) Interim Vice Chancellor for Administrative and Community Services Bill Lace has been named to the prestigious advisory board of the new Frank W. and Sue Mayborn School of Journalism at The University of North Texas. Two of the other dignitaries on the board (and perhaps they’re also icons in their respective fields) who will advise the school on how to best prepare students for the ever-changing world of journalism are Keven Ann Willey, vice president and editorial page editor with The Dallas Morning News and Brian Sweany, editor of special projects for Texas Monthly. SoLace is in good company – as are Sweany and Willey.
