FORT WORTH — What do you do when all of your chickens come home to roost? That’s exactly what Bernard faces in the classic French farce Boeing Boeing, opening at TCC Southeast this week.
The play, written by Marc Camoletti and translated by Beverly Cross and Francis Evans, is set in Paris in the 1960s. The charming bachelor is engaged to three women, all of them flight attendants working for different airlines.
Seeing them at different times works well for him until the airlines change their schedules and the flight attendants are all in Paris at the same time. Chaos ensues.
Drama Instructor Arturo Garcia, the play’s director, calls Boeing Boeing a “turbulent-filled ride as the consequences of a man’s relationships lead to a disastrous night.” The play was made into a 1965 movie starring Tony Curtis and Jerry Lewis.
It is suggested for mature audiences. Children under 6 will not be admitted.
Boeing Boeing is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc.
