Quest Collegiate Academy – Fort Worth (Trinity River) is a tuition-free public charter school where students can earn college credit while completing high school. The campus is designed to align with a statewide initiative to increase dual credit participation and post-secondary readiness.
“This partnership reflects our commitment to accelerating achievement and transforming lives through education,” said TCC Chancellor Elva LeBlanc. “Embedding high school students in a college environment empowers them to see themselves as scholars, leaders and professionals.”
Located in the heart of downtown Fort Worth, the academy offers direct access to TCC’s college-level resources, including the library, science labs, tutoring center and student organizations.
Academy students can earn dual credit through TCC’s academic offerings, saving families thousands of dollars in future tuition costs. The campus emphasizes projected employment experiences, mentorships and professional development, helping students to discover their career interests and build a strong foundation.
“It is an honor to open a campus that invests in the future of our community,” said campus Director Abigail Garrett. “Our students will graduate not only with a head start on their education but with confidence, skills and connections that set them apart.”
The campus features unique learning environments such as the Idea Store, a collaboration hub, and the Math Emporium, a dynamic area for study and problem-solving — all spaces crafted to foster innovation and creativity.
TCC students benefit from transfer agreements with leading universities — among them Texas Christian University, the University of North Texas, Texas Wesleyan University, UT Arlington and the Texas A&M Engineering Academy — plus Quest students ride free on Trinity Metro buses. The Route 46 bus services TCC Trinity River.
Vice Chancellor and Provost Shelley Pearson: “Academic excellence is more than a standard — it’s a TCC promise. By partnering with Quest Collegiate Academy, we’re expanding opportunities for students to experience college-level rigor and support. When students are challenged and inspired, they rise to new levels of achievement. This collaboration reflects that.”
