Spring has arrived, which means it is time for TCC’s annual plant sale hosted by the Horticulture Program at TCC Northwest. More than 50 varieties of perennials, herbs, annuals and vegetable plants will be available at prices below retail. Four packs of annuals are $2.75. Pots range from $1.75 to $3.75. Hanging baskets are $15.00.
Proceeds from sales are used for departmental field trips including participating in the National Collegiate landscape competition.
“This year, our TCC team finished 17th in the nation (including many four-year schools),” said David Bulpitt, instructor and coordinator for the Horticulture Program. “We had four of our students finish in the top 10 percent of all student scores in the nation.”
