Tarrant County College (TCC) and National University (NU), California’s second-largest, private, nonprofit institution of higher education, have signed an agreement that will create a seamless pathway for TCC students interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree at NU. This is the sixth articulation agreement the two institutions have signed to guarantee the transferability of TCC courses to NU.
This agreement covers students in multiple degree programs including business administration, healthcare and nursing, engineering and technology.
To make the transition more affordable, NU will offer two main scholarships to eligible TCC students and alumni, each of which would reduce tuition by 25 percent.
In addition to scholarship opportunities, NU will provide students with access to pre-transfer academic and financial aid advisors/counselors. Transfer students with a 2.0 incoming GPA at the time of application will be guaranteed admission to NU.
This articulation agreement is especially significant for military students. Veteran students will receive information and support including veteran certification upon matriculation. Active duty service members, reservists and their dependents will receive information about benefits available through NU’s military tuition discount.
