FORT WORTH, Texas — Tarrant County College continues its record-breaking momentum for the fourth consecutive year, scoring another post-pandemic enrollment high. Based on 12th class day numbers, TCC begins fall 2025 with 49,393 students — up nearly 22 percent from 2021 and outpacing many of the nation’s two-year institutions.
Approximately 12,500 students are dual enrolled (dual credit and Early College High School).
And with multiple start dates based on program offerings, fall enrollment is expected to keep increasing. Registration for the second eight-week term continues through Oct. 16. Visit www.tccd.edu for class schedules.
“These enrollment gains represent bold dreams of better futures and lives forever changed,” Chancellor Elva LeBlanc said. “Students find value here. We’re honored that they do.”
In addition to myriad success initiatives, Dr. LeBlanc attributes TCC’s expanding enrollment to market-responsive learning opportunities, innovative teaching and a rising reputation as one of the nation’s premier community colleges.
“We’re providing access and opportunity for students who otherwise might not have the chance to earn a higher education. We’re equipping them with the education they need to be career ready from the moment they graduate or transfer to a four-year institution.”
Celebrating 60 years of excellence and impact in 2025, Tarrant County College is one of the nation’s largest higher education institutions and boasts the second lowest tuition of Texas’ Top 10 community colleges. A comprehensive two-year college with six campuses in Tarrant County and online classes, TCC offers a range of opportunities for learners of all ages and backgrounds.
