TCC to confer 8,000+ diplomas and certificates at 56th commencement

FORT WORTH, Texas — Tarrant County College will award 8,199 degrees and certificates at its 56th commencement Saturday, May 17, at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth. The conferrals include 6,179 associate degrees and 2,020 certificates.

TCC’s 56th commencement is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the Class of 2025. This year the College celebrates 60 years of excellence and impact.

Saturday’s celebration begins at 10:30 a.m., with Chancellor Elva LeBlanc presiding over all three ceremonies. Graduates from summer 2024, fall 2024 and spring 2025 will participate, including 720 Early College High School students who have completed the requirements for a TCC associate degree.

The day’s events are divided into three ceremonies:

  • 10:30 a.m. — TCC South and TCC Connect
  • 2:30 p.m. — TCC Trinity River and TCC Northwest
  • 6:30 p.m. — TCC Southeast and TCC Northeast

Nearly 2,960 graduates are expected to attend the celebrations throughout the day.
