TCC Northeast presents ‘Something’s Afoot’

FORT WORTH, Texas — Suspense, laughter and unforgettable melodies await the audience in the musical comedy Something’s Afoot, which reimagines the Agatha Christie 1939 classic And Then There Were None. Performances at Tarrant County College Northeast run April 16-19 at 7 p.m. with a matinee April 19 at 2 p.m.

Ten people are stranded in an isolated English country house during a raging thunderstorm. One by one they’re picked off by cleverly fiendish devices. As bodies pile up in the library, the survivors frantically race to uncover the identity and motivation of the cunning culprit.

Tickets:
• TCC students, faculty and staff: free
• Non-TCC students and senior citizens: $3
• General public: $6

Proceeds benefit SafeHaven of Tarrant County, a nonprofit supporting domestic violence survivors. Donations of money and toiletries also will be accepted.

“To pair our artistic journey with a greater purpose — supporting SafeHaven — reminds us of theater’s highest calling. To entertain, challenge and propel society lives in every choice we make,” director Ashlee Elizabeth Bashore says. “Here, every laugh shared and mystery solved directly fuels that mission. That’s how we honor the stage: by lifting our students and our community as we rise together.”
