‘Shortnfunny’ opens at TCC South

FORT WORTH, Texas — Shortnfunny — three comedies emphasizing actor interaction, with limited props — runs April 10-12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Joe B. Rushing Center for the Performing Arts Mainstage at Tarrant County College South. Admission is free.

The plays are produced by special arrangement with Playscripts, Inc. Director Lindy Benton-Muller said they were chosen because the actors simply wanted to have fun and entertain. “There’s an old saying that ‘Dying is easy. Comedy is hard.’ We’ve worked really hard and hope that everyone enjoys our efforts.”

The Scary Question by Wayne S. Rawley features Brian and Linda, who do love each other, but when Brian pops an important question, it isn’t exactly the one Linda is expecting. The two face a serious and scary discussion about their relationship and … zombies.

In The Blueberry Hill Accord by Daryl Watson, Lindsay has bad news for her friend, Hannah — she wants to end their nine-year relationship. However, before they go their separate ways, there are a few things that need to be straightened out, put into writing, signed and notarized.

The high-octane comedy The Internet is Distract – OH LOOK A KITTEN! explores the rabbit hole we all go down every time we go online.
