Tarrant County College is asking the community for its feedback on a proposed redistricting map for its elective districts.
TCC will hold a redistricting town hall on Thursday, September 8, at 6 p.m. at the Trinity River Campus in Clear Fork 2103 C1 and C2 (TRCF 2103). During the session, TCC will consider community feedback about the proposed changes.
Redistricting is the process of redrawing the boundaries of elective districts (e.g., single-member districts) due to changes in the local population, as reported by the U.S. Census Bureau every ten years. This process ensures the Tarrant County community has fair representation on the TCC Board of Trustees.
TCC has seven single-member board districts.
