KTVT journalist Ken Molestina recently interviewed several faculty members in TCC’s sign language interpretation program about the movie “CODA” possibly leading to more people studying to become sign language interpreters.
American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters facilitate communication from spoken English into ASL and ASL into spoken English. They work, interact, and interpret in a variety of professional and community settings.
TCC’s award-winning program is 1 of 4 associate degree programs in the country that is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Interpreter Education.
