Tarrant County College continues its commitment to serving the community in November by celebrating Native American Heritage Month virtually.
This commemorative month first was observed in 1990 by then President George H.W. Bush to “provide a platform for Native people in the United States of America to share their cultures, traditions, music, crafts, dance, and ways and concepts of life.”
Except for a one time-specific event on Monday, Nov. 16, individuals may access the virtual celebrations at their leisure.
