HVAC students, professionals attend training at TCC South

For the past three days, Tarrant County College students, local contractors and faculty attended the LG Ductless HVAC training held in the Center of Excellence for Energy Technology at TCC South. Presented by AC Supply Company, this training focused on installation training, service training and marketing/sales. All corporate training was provided by LG Electronics.

Companies are trying to fill critical positions within the HVACR field, with employment mechanics and installers projected to grow 13 percent from 2018 to 2028, much faster than the average for all occupations, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Growth is being driven by commercial and residential building construction.
