In keeping with its commitment to serving the community, Tarrant County College recently opened the new Corporate Training Center AllianceTexas (CTCA)—a renovated facility that will offer customized corporate training and meet the needs of Tarrant County’s business community.
TCC Corporate Solutions & Economic Development hosted a celebration March 19 to mark the completed renovation and relocation of the CTCA space. The facility is located on the third floor of TCC’s Erma C. Johnson Hadley Northwest Center of Excellence for Aviation, Transportation & Logistics at Alliance Airport (2301 Horizon Dr., Fort Worth, 76177). The event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, remarks by TCC District Chancellor Eugene Giovannini, guided tours of CTCA and refreshments.
The space will offer customized training for Tarrant County businesses, professional development, short-term certifications and state-of-the-art meeting facilities. Prior to the renovation, Corporate Solutions & Economic Development leased space in the Alliance area.
“This move supports our one-college goal and will create more opportunities for collaboration with faculty and staff at the Hadley Northwest Center of Excellence,” said Jennifer Hawkins, director of Corporate Solutions & Economic Development for TCC. “Our new facility provides will allow us to be more flexible than ever to meet the needs of the growing Tarrant County workforce.”
For more than 20 years, Corporate Solutions & Economic Development has worked with businesses, community and economic development organizations and industry associations to develop the workforce Tarrant County needs to thrive. Expert instructors work with industry leaders to create customized training programs covering technology, management and leadership, language, safety, industry-specific specialized knowledge and more, delivered at TCC or in the field. The College’s Corporate Solutions & Economic Development classes are now available to individuals through open enrollment.
