TCC Celebrates African-American Heritage Month

African American History Month Celebrate Strides event.Tarrant County College is marking African-American Heritage Month with a variety of events for student, employee and community participation.

TCC South will host the annual Ariel Hunter Chriss African-American Professional Conference Friday, Feb. 23, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The event offers leadership strategies and tools for business professionals, entrepreneurs and community leaders. On Tuesday, Feb. 27, TCC will host its Districtwide African-American Heritage Month event, “Celebrating Strides.” This year’s program will celebrate TCC students and showcase their perspectives on the past, present and future. Celebrating Strides begins at 5:30 p.m. in TCC Trinity River’s Action Suites (300 Trinity Campus Circle, TRTR fourth floor).
