As our fall 2017 semester ends and you begin your holiday break, I wanted to send you the newest edition of our campus newsletter. As you read this edition, you will be as proud as I am of the accomplishments of our Southeast faculty, staff and students. From faculty FDL activities, to the seniors of our Arlington Collegiate High School taking courses at UTA, the opening of our Aquaponics area and the heartwarming story of one of our ESOL students, you will see that talent and dedication is one of the hallmarks of our campus family.
I also want to take this opportunity to thank you, each in your own way, for helping our students have a successful semester. Crowded hallways, larger class sizes and many more students visiting our Learning Labs, all pose challenges, but because of your spirit and dedication to our students, you have persevered.
I hope that each of you has the opportunity to rest and relax with family and friends during the holiday break! I look forward to working with you in the new year, as together we continue what we do best – help our students succeed.
Sincerely,
Bill Coppola, Ph.D., President
