FORT WORTH, Texas (June 13, 2017) – Tarrant County College Chancellor Eugene Giovannini has been invited by the White House to attend a meeting at the Department of Labor on Wednesday, June 14 outlining worker-trainer initiatives.
During this trip, Chancellor Giovannini will continue to collaborate with elected officials, business leaders and other stakeholders to forge strategic partnerships that impact the vitality of Tarrant County. Recently, TCC announced a state-of-the-art automotive training partnership with Toyota Motors North America. The Technician Training and Education Network Program (T-TEN) will provide students the opportunity to acquire additional skills, national certification and employment at Toyota and Lexus dealerships in a five-state region.
