WHAT:
As part of its ongoing commitment to prepare a trained workforce to fill the increasing demand for skill-specific jobs, Tarrant County College is taking to the air with Bell Helicopter and Fort Worth ISD officials to announce an innovative educational partnership.
Emerging from a Bell 407GX helicopter that lands at Dunbar High School, TCC’s Troy Vaughn, Associate Vice Chancellor for Continuing Education Services, will join Fort Worth ISD Superintendent Walter Dansby, Dunbar High School Principal Carlos Walker, Bell Helicopter Senior Technical Trainer and Bell Helicopter Technical Training Manager Tom Knight in a program to announce the new opportunity.
Program participants will include Fort Worth City Council members, Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce representatives, students, teachers and staff from Dunbar High School and other FWISD schools.
